How we repair your Wii & Wii U

  1. We test the Wii or Wii U with several discs and check power and video output.
  2. We open the console and check the laser and drive mechanism.
  3. The worn laser or drive part is replaced; for the Wii U GamePad we replace the screen or battery.
  4. We test with games and, for the Wii U, check the GamePad connection before it goes back.

How long it takes

Most Wii and Wii U repairs take one to two days so the drive can be tested properly after the repair. Every repair comes with a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.

Before you bring it in

  • Bring the console and its power supply; for the Wii U, bring the GamePad too.
  • Bring a disc that fails to load so we can test with it.
  • Please do not open the console yourself first.

If several clean discs fail, it is usually the laser. We test with our own discs to confirm before quoting.
