How we repair your PSP, PS Vita & PS Portal
- We check the handheld for screen, battery, charging and control faults and look for signs of drops or liquid damage.
- We open it carefully, as these handhelds use fine ribbon cables that are easy to damage.
- The faulty screen, battery, port or stick is replaced with a part matched to your exact model.
- We test the screen, touch, sticks, buttons, charging and Wi-Fi before returning it.
How long it takes
Battery, stick and charging port repairs are usually done the same day. Screens for some models, especially the original PS Vita, may need ordering, and we tell you the expected time when we quote. Every repair comes with a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
Before you bring it in
- Charge it if it still charges, and bring the charger if the fault is charging-related.
- Remove your game cards or microSD card, or tell us if one is stuck.
- You do not need to give us your account password to repair it.

Can you replace the screen on an original PS Vita?
Yes. Screens for the original PS Vita (1000 series) are harder to find than for the PS Vita 2000, so we check availability and confirm the price before starting.
My PSP battery is swollen. Is that dangerous?
A swollen battery should not be charged or used. Stop using it and bring it in; we remove the old battery safely and fit a new one.
Do you repair PlayStation Portal stick drift?
Yes. We replace the worn stick and test the Portal with your PS5 connection settings left untouched.
